Skyrim English Language Pack Download
Over 100 language packs are available for an administrator to install on your Moodle site in 'Language packs' in the Site administration. Simply select the languages you require from the list of available language packs and click on the "Install selected language pack" button.
Language packs are a work-in-progress, since new language strings are added for new features in each new version of Moodle. Lang packs can be manually downloaded from Language packs for Moodle 4.1. The page also lists the percentage of language strings translated in each language pack.
Certain language packs (a child language pack) contain only the modified language strings from their parent language, rather than a complete set. Thus, it is necessary to install the parent language pack too. On (replace 3.11 by the correct version number) you can see those languages printed in italic).
Note: If your site uses a child language pack and if you use the Multi-language content filter, you need to be very careful about how to use if (as reported in MDL-55197). See Multi-language content filter for more details and examples.
In general, the easiest way to install additional language packs is from within Moodle. However, it is also possible to install a language pack manually by downloading the zip file from Language packs for Moodle 4.1 and unzipping it to a directory called lang in your moodledata directory.
If you install another language pack, you will then get a folder such as lang/fr which would have French translations of Moodle terms. Unlike with English, other language packs such as lang/fr will contain all translations along with the main core terms so you would find see for example the badges strings in lang/fr/block_badges.php and the workshop strings in lang/fr/workshop.php.
These files (which all end in .php) contain short phrases, often called "strings". Strings may contain a placeholder (between the curly brackets below). This placeholder is replaced with the chosen words from the language pack when the string is displayed. The term between the square brackets is called the 'string identifier' or the 'string name'. Examples:
See the following image showing (Insignias) a properly translated Spanish language string (green rectangle) and an unstranslated English language string (red rectangle) for 'Badges' plus a mixture of translated and untranslated strings with a language pack that should have 100% of the core strings translated.
Sometimes you may find (see image below) that your server has, in addition to your usual language packs (e.g., en, es_mx), an odd-named language pack with an _old name ending (e.g., es_mx_old), that -obviously- can not be updated.
In case you are using Windows 10 Single Language, you couldn't change it, but if it is NOT single language, you may download language pack , go to Settings->Time & Language->Language and you could add English and set it as your Windows Display Language and then restart your PC.
I'm learning French, so I figured I'd change the Steam UI to French and hopefully learn a bit more. Unfortunately this made Steam download the language packs for some games, so I changed back to English. Now Steam is stuck updating Skyrim and Morrowind to French, and I can't stop them. I can pause them, but I need to wait for the download to finish to play. I'm on capped internet and I really, really can't afford to download another ten gigs of data this month. So how can I stop these updates?
As mentioned above, a number of fonts that previously would have been included in every Windows desktop client system have in Windows 10 been moved into optional font features. The following table gives the complete list of the optional font features and representative language associations. Select fonts that have been moved into these packages are listed; these are fonts that were used as shell user interface fonts in previous Windows versions but have since been superseded by newer Windows fonts.
If you are configuring language packs or international settings in Windows 10 deployment images, then you should use the Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool (DISM) to include optional font packages (and other optional, language-related capabilities) associated with the language packs that you add into your images. The following article provides details regarding the optional font capabilities and the associated Windows 10 language pack languages:
If you are a system administrator and know that your scenarios will require fonts from one or more of these optional font capabilities, even if you are not including associated language packs into your deployment images, you can still add any of the font capabilities into your deployment images using DISM.
If you wish to provide missing/additional voice packs, please comment on the links, and a Content Mod or Administrator will add it to the list ASAP. Do NOT remove existing download links under any circumstance, you've been warned.
The international language packs for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 should download automatically as game patches, but the non-English languages for Nintendo Switch are available as Free DLC. Here's how to find the International Language Pack for your Nintendo Switch:
Additional language packs may be installed on your Moodle site via Administration > Site administration > Language > Language packs, or manually. For more details, see the Language packs documentation.
Go to Settings > Time & Language > Region & language, select a region, then click Add a language, choose the language pack you need. Click the language pack you just added, and open Options, then click the Download button under Download language pack. Go back to the previous screen when the download is complete, and then set the language pack as default.
You need to go to the installed directory in order to install the software.
Click on the steam_api.ini shortcut.
To use the notepad, first select open with.
Go to the bottom of the page and find a language, and if there is a ru option, choose en-US or english, whichever language you want.
The Voice must first be saved to Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Skyrim/Data and copied.
You can change the language to Japanese by going to Steam, Settings, Interface.
You can now download Skyrim files for some other platforms and the files will be made Japanese (This is not like changing saves any time soon).
Some packages may ship with their own language files. Instead of changing the package's core files to tweak these lines, you may override them by placing files in the lang/vendor/package/locale directory.
So, for example, if you need to override the English translation strings in messages.php for a package named skyrim/hearthfire, you should place a language file at: lang/vendor/hearthfire/en/messages.php. Within this file, you should only define the translation strings you wish to override. Any translation strings you don't override will still be loaded from the package's original language files.

Check the cartridge case, game's eshop page, or Nintendo's website page for the game to make sure English is supported. If the language isn't on the cartridge, you can go to the game's eshop page to download the "language pack". I think that's how it works? I haven't had to download a language pack, myself, but I know the ability to download the language packs exists. If the language is supported, you can download it.
If you need a localized version in a language other than English, enter the following 5th command to download and install a language pack, substituting and respectively with their corresponding ids for your desired language. This is for information only, I haven't actually verified that they work or are correct:
Excellent question to ask with all the malicious crap circulating nowadays. The version of Depot Downloader I linked to is authentic and safe to use. It asks for Steam account credentials and passes them on to the Steam servers because Steam needs to verify you have a license and are authorized to download the packages. No one has had their Steam account hijacked by using this tool yet, as far as I know.
Thanks for offering your help i guess. But this thread is old, and the project planned here was abandoned. The different teams did not provide their language files in time during two consecutive beta periods so this was decided to not be a feasable direction. Localized uskps are once again distributed separatelly by their local team. If you have fun working on localizations, i think it would be best to get in contact with them. I'm pretty sure they upload their patch localizations to the nexus. I can not speak for the french version, but the germans are very thorough in their work. There is a regular uskp translation on the nexus (it's usually released 1-2 weeks after the english release and they are partly the reason why the unified project did not work out). But then after their localization they package the uskp into one big download and add a german texture pack on top as well (for inn signs and posts and the like). This wider scope is probably the reason they did not bother with the unified uskp project to begin with. 2ff7e9595c
